Wynona Mae Brown

Wynona Mae Brown, 85

Born June 13, 1938, passed away July 7, 2023.  She was born in Oklahoma City, Ok and raised in Coyle, just east of Langston, Ok.

She is a proud graduate of Douglas High School, class of 1956.  She was a devoted member of the VFW Auxiliary and a long-time member of The Greater Shiloh Baptist Church.  Her parents, brother Fritz Black, and sons Harold Lee Brown and Anthony Ray Rogers precede her in death.  She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Black, her daughter Sharon Rogers Andrews, son Paul Brown, and daughter Lorna McMillian, ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The family thanks you, sincerely, for the love and care you showed mother while she lived.  For those of you who prayed, sent heart-felt condolences, flowers and food.  We are deeply grateful for your outpouring of love towards our family.  And we are comforted in knowing that she is now resting in peace.
