Tiffiny L. Carter, 51, of Tatums, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, at Warr Acres Nursing Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Services will be held Wednesday, October 12, at noon at Bethel Baptist Church, with Reverend Michael Richard of Bethel Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Howard-Harris Funeral Services.
Tiffiny L. Carter was born February 27, 1971, in Healdton, Oklahoma, to Joseph D. Carter Sr. and Lovie L. Carter. Tiffiny accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She graduated from Fox High School in 1989, attended Job Corps, and studied at Langston University. After completing her education, she worked for AmeriCorps and Tatums Community-Based Organization. She loved fashion, computer games, and good food. Her beautiful and loving personality will forever be cherished.
She leaves to cherish in her memory her mother: Lovie L. Carter; her siblings: Matthew Franklin and wife Lawanna, Charlotte Carter and partner-in-life Nicklaus Dean, and Joe Carter Jr. and wife Melva; her nieces and nephews: Tansy and (Kyle) Connor, Mikayla Franklin, Lauren Carter, Damien Miles, Davion Carter, and Trey Carter; her great-nieces and nephews: Honesti Franklin, De’Andre Girtmon, Devin Girtmon, Adrian Rosado, Marleigh Miles, Kaitlyn Conner, Zariyah Johnson, Kye Conner, and Remi Carter; her aunts: Addie Davidson, and Ramona Louis; and extended Boyd, Caldwell and Carter family.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph D. Carter, Sr, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Boyd, Sr.
