Reynold Veal

Reynold Raynard Veal, known to his family and friends as, Moeman and his extended family as Boss, was born May 6, 1966, at England AFB, Louisiana. Reynold was the beloved son of the late Major (Ret) Raymond Veal, Jr. and Ruby L. (Green) Veal. He came into the world as a twin, though his brother sadly passed at birth—an absence Reynold quietly carried with him his entire life. He departed this life on June 9, 2025, In Lawton, OK

Reynold was raised in a loving home alongside his siblings and learned early the value of resilience, faith, and family.

Reynold accepted Christ early in life and was baptized in Alexandria, LA. He carried those values with him through every season of life.

Reynold began his work ethic working in his fathers ‘various businesses with his brothers. He was employed at El Zarape’s, Bunte Candy Company, and Tinker Air Force Base Dining Facilities. Later becoming a dedicated employee of Waste Management for many years, Reynold earned respect for his reliability and tireless work ethic. Reynold then operated his own lawn service various handy man services named Mow Clean Cuts, taking pride in the business, he built from the ground up. His work not only beautified neighborhoods but also brought comfort and care to those he served. 

Reynold has an educational background that spans multiple locations being raised in a military family, Reynold attended schools in Louisiana, Germany, Texas, and Lawton, Oklahoma. His schooling included Douglass Elementary, Central Junior High, and Lawton High School. He attended Vocational school and obtained a trade in Auto Mechanics. Later in life, he chose to obtain his General Educational Development (GED) certification, demonstrating his commitment to education and personal development.

Reynold’s life was enriched by his marriage to Caroline Elliott on May 22, 1986, although their marriage ended in 2002. Together, their union brought forth Reynold’s greatest pride and purpose: his 9 Children. RaQuinda Veal-Walker of Oklahoma City, OK, RaTishia Brown (Chris Brown) of Broken Arrow, OK, RaTavia Veal/Walker of Oklahoma City, OK, RaShayla Veal-Walker of Oklahoma City, OK, RaQuenette Veal/Walker of Oklahoma City, OK, RaMero Veal/Walker of Oklahoma City, OK, and RaShawn Veal/Walker of Lawton, OK.

He also leaves behind 18 grandchildren, one great-grandson: Alexandria Brown, Treveon Grant, Shakaria Brown, Kimora Walker, Rachrisia Brown, Zariyah Brown, Reynold Veal Jr., Reynold Veal-Walker, Jeremiah Williams, Pierre Gratts, A’shari’ah Walker, Dandre Archer, Zandriyah Brown, Jayla Williams, Peydyn Archer, Christopher Brown Jr., Nash Holguin, Ellianna Holguin, and Praise Brown, a large extended family, and many friends, neighbors, and loyal customers each of whom was touched by his kindness, humor, and generous spirit.

Reynold shared a close bond with his siblings, who brought him strength, laughter, and companionship throughout his life. He is survived by one sister, Raquetta Veal, Lawton, OK, four brothers—Reginald Veal of Pearland, Texas, Raymond (Lois) Veal of Lawton, OK, Ronald Veal (Patricia Neugent) of Oklahoma City, OK, Racardo Veal, Lawton, OK.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond Veal Sr. and Agnes Lucille Swain-Veal, his brothers, Raymond Veal III, Ramero R. Veal, his sister, Ramona Regina Veal, and his twin brother and another sibling who died at infancy. His daughter RaNeshea Veal and his son Reynold Veal/Walker Jr., his sister-in-law Vonnicia Veal, whose memories live forever in his heart.

Reynold found joy in life’s simple pleasures: sitting outside in the sunshine, working on cars, laughing with family, playing the piano and saxophone, singing and making music with his friends and loved ones, and sharing jokes that lifted everyone's spirits. His warmth and presence brought comfort to those around him, and his memory will live on in every smile, every story, and every sunset shared in his honor. Reynold worked hard, loved deeply, and lived humbly. Though his hands now rest, his legacy will continue to grow through the family he cherished, the work he gave his all to, and the many lives he touched.
