Gregory James Parker passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026. He was born in Montana on March 29, 1963 to Irma Kate Bell and Edward James Parker. He graduated from Capitol Hill high school and went on to get his degree in Hospitality and Hotel Management. He worked in upper management at the Marriot hotel, and on NCLA, Pride of America and Pride of Hawaii cruise ships. For the last few years, he was working at Tinker AFB as a sheet metal mechanic, which he absolutely loved doing. Even doing sheet metal work, his hospitality spirit always shined in everything he did, big or small. In high school he was a singer in a band and played sports. He loved to do art, and paint abstract pictures, write poems, and recite scriptures from the bible. Gregory was a Devout Catholic and very strong in his faith. Everyone he met, he would bring the word of the Lord to. He enjoyed volunteering with G.O.L.D. (gospel of life disciples) and being involved within his church, lighting candles, stocking the food pantry etc. He especially loved spending time with his 8 grandkids. Grayson, Kendyn, Parker, Wally, Scarlett, Iris, Jasper and Saffron. He would take them to the movies, a park, or just simply play with them for hours. He would also take them to their favorite store to get whatever snacks or drinks they would want, even sometimes when mom said no. He loved to celebrate the 4th of July and make it a special by getting all of the coolest fireworks, like he was one of the kids. He always made people feel special and seen, even at work, he would bring candy, snacks and homemade treats just to brighten others day. Every Christmas, he would buy a bowl of candy and toys, so that anyone who came over would have something to go home with and know they were thought of. He enjoyed life to the fullest and didn't care what anyone else thought. He was quirky, in a fun way and always encouraged his kids and grandchildren not to care what anyone else thinks of them and to just have fun in life. He loved being with family, his kids, siblings and his mom. He really enjoyed having dinner with his mom, and every time he'd go pick up food, he'd make a special trip somewhere else to make sure to get her something he thought she'd enjoy, even if it wasnt the same place he was going to eat. Gregory is proceeded in death by his father, Edward Parker, his Granny Dot and Papa Paul (Dorothy and Paul Silloway) and his Grandma and Grandpa Parker (James and Florence Parker). He is survived by his mother, Irma Kate; siblings, brother Glenn and wife Sue, sister Gina and husband Chris, sister Gail, and bonus sibling Tan, his wife and his son, his daughters, Amber Brumbaugh and son in law Cody, Lyssa Veldhousen and son in law Adam, and Rebekah Parker, along with his 8 grandchildren, and several beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his family, he will be greatly missed by his many friends, coworkers, church family, and his favorite donut girls, at Mr.Donutman.
