Cornell Ray Williamson, the middle child of three, was born 1 January 1966 to Jesse Ray Williamson of Lawton, OK and Virginia Faye Williamson.

 

Early in his life, Cornell accepted Christ and became a member of Union Baptist Church in Lawton, under the leadership of Reverend H.P. Parris. He received his education in LPS-Eisenhower High School. Cornell graduated from High School and moved to the Dallas, Fort Worth area. He retired from Bank of America as a Senior Accountant and Hilton hotels as a manager. Cornell was always happy and enjoyed spreading joy to others. Cornell had a host of family members and friends. He has such a gentle heart and spirit. Cornell always enjoyed helping people and was always willing to assist anyone with a smile or hand.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Faye Williamson.

 

Cornell leaves to cherish his beautiful memory his father, Jesse Ray Williamson Jr. of Lawton, OK; two sisters, Lynelle Patterson of Killeen, TX and Lacynthia Williamson of Fort Worth, TX; two nieces, Tanisha Patterson and Tiara Patterson; one great-nephew, Darian Cress; one great-niece, Jessaylyn Cress and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

 

Services will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 11:00am at Union Baptist Church 1601 Charles Ave. SW. Lawton, OK and burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens 8700 N Cache Rd. Lawton, OK.
